§ 01Overview

What the XNO-C6083R is

The Hanwha XNO-C6083R is a 2MP X-Core AI outdoor bullet camera built for directional outdoor coverage across perimeters, loading docks, and commercial entry points — the bullet form factor complementing the dome-based XND-C siblings when a visible deterrent or precisely aimed mounting is preferred.

A 2.8-12mm motorised varifocal lens supports flexible field-of-view framing, adjustable remotely from web viewer without physical repositioning.

Powered by the Wisenet7 platform, it captures Full HD 1920x1080 video at up to 60fps under H.265, H.264, and MJPEG codecs.

WiseIR provides infrared illumination to approximately 40m, and extremeWDR at 150dB — top of Hanwha's WDR range and unusual on outdoor bullets — handles high-contrast environments such as backlit entry gates and sun-exposed car parks where 120dB siblings lose subject definition.

AI analytics onboard classify people, vehicles, and faces in real time, and support behavioural detection including intrusion, loitering, and line crossing.

IP66 + IP67 + IK10 + NEMA4X environmental rating combines water-jet resistance (IP66), temporary immersion margin (IP67), impact resistance (IK10), and corrosion resistance (NEMA4X) — built to withstand Australian outdoor conditions across industrial and commercial sites.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the XNO-C6083R

Bullet Form Factor for Directional Coverage

Visible bullet housing acts as a deterrent and mounts to walls, poles, or eave soffits with precise aiming — the right shape when you want the camera seen and pointed at a specific target (perimeter fence, entry gate, loading dock).

150dB extremeWDR on Outdoor Bullet

Top of Hanwha WDR range and unusual on outdoor bullets (most cap at 120dB) — the practical impact is readable subject detail on backlit gates and sun-exposed car park approaches where lesser bullets fail during Australian midday.

Face Classification on Approach Coverage

AI face detection on the approach path supports identification workflows at gated commercial sites, and cuts false alerts from wind-blown vegetation on rural/industrial perimeters where standard motion detection generates too much noise.

Dual IP66 + IP67 Water Rating

IP66 covers water jets from any direction; IP67 adds temporary immersion margin (1m water for 30 minutes). Practical fit for low-set exterior mounts and canopy-adjacent installations where occasional flooding is possible.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Building Perimeters and Fence Lines

Directional bullet form factor and 40m WiseIR range are suited to perimeter runs and fence-line coverage; AI person/vehicle classification cuts wildlife and wind-blown false triggers.

Loading Docks and Commercial Entry Points

Aim the bullet at specific dock bays or gate approaches; the 2.8-12mm varifocal lens dials framing between wide bay coverage and focused vehicle-approach identification.

Car Park and Vehicle Approach Coverage

150dB extremeWDR handles the backlit gates and sun-exposed approach lanes that lose detail on standard 120dB outdoor bullets, while AI vehicle classification supports gate-management workflows.

Industrial and Coastal Site Boundaries

NEMA4X corrosion resistance materially extends housing life on coastal and industrial-chemical sites where standard IP66 housings show corrosion damage within 2-3 years.

§ 06Setup

Installation & setup

01

What is in the Box

1. Hanwha XNO-C6083R Camera x 1 2. Mounting Screws & Anchors x 1 set 3. Quick Start Guide x 1

02

Installation Requirements

1. Power: PoE (IEEE 802.3af). 2. Mounting: wall, pole, or eave soffit — directional bullet housing. 3. Sealing: preserve IP66/IP67 rating by sealing all conduit and cable entries. 4. Positioning: aim at the target scene (fence line, gate, loading dock) leveraging the directional bullet form.

03

App/Software Setup

1. Access via web viewer, or add to Hanwha Wisenet WAVE or SSM software. 2. Dial in zoom and focus remotely on the varifocal lens. 3. Configure AI analytics: face classification, intrusion zones, virtual lines, loitering dwell times. 4. Enable extremeWDR on scenes with strong backlight from sky or building glazing.

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked about the XNO-C6083R

Q.01

Q: Bullet or dome — which for my deployment?

A: Bullet (XNO-C6083R) for directional outdoor coverage where you want the camera visible as a deterrent and precisely aimed — fence lines, gates, loading docks. Dome (XND-C6083RV in same X-Core family) for ceiling-mounted indoor coverage where the camera should be less visually obtrusive. Same X-Core AI feature set on both.
Q.02

Q: What's 150dB WDR doing for me in practice?

A: 150dB is the top of Hanwha's WDR range and unusual on outdoor bullets — most cap at 120dB. Practical impact: readable subject detail on backlit gates and sun-exposed approach lanes during Australian midday sun, where 120dB siblings lose face or plate definition.
Q.03

Q: What AI events can this detect?

A: Person, vehicle, and face classification (X-Core does not do full licence plate ANPR — for that use a dedicated ANPR camera), plus intrusion, loitering, and line crossing. Configure through web viewer or Wisenet WAVE.
Q.04

Q: What field of view can I dial in?

A: The 2.8-12mm motorised varifocal lens covers wide perimeter sweep at 2.8mm to focused vehicle-approach shot at 12mm. Adjust remotely from web viewer.
Q.05

Q: How far does WiseIR reach?

A: Approximately 40m — appropriate for medium-length perimeter runs and gate approaches. For longer reach (90m), the XNO-6123R with 12x zoom and NPU is the alternative.
Q.06

Q: What's IP66 + IP67 together for?

A: IP66 covers water jets from any direction (standard outdoor); IP67 adds margin for temporary immersion (1m water for 30 minutes). Practical fit for low-set mounts and canopy-adjacent installations where occasional flooding is possible.
Q.07

Q: Is the housing corrosion-resistant?

A: Yes — NEMA4X adds corrosion resistance on top of IP66/IP67. Materially extends housing life on coastal properties and industrial-chemical sites where standard IP66 housings show corrosion damage within 2-3 years.
Q.08

Q: Can this integrate with third-party VMS?

A: Yes — supports ONVIF for standard third-party integration. For AI-specific event forwarding, test event delivery to your recorder before large rollouts.
