Installation & setup

  1. Confirm your recorder

    Connect to an HDCVI XVR or a compatible HD DVR over coax. Set the DIP switch to match the recorder format, and update the XVR firmware if needed to record the full 5MP.

  2. Provide 24V AC or 12V DC power

    This camera does not use PoE. Run a separate power cable and size a 24V AC or 12V DC supply for the camera, allowing for the IR load at night.

  3. Mount on wall or eave

    Fix the bullet to a wall or eave with a clear view of the area, mounting under an eave where practical to keep rain off the lens.

  4. Set the lens from the recorder

    After mounting, set the motorised 2.7-13.5mm zoom and focus from the XVR or DVR to frame the scene without returning to the camera.

Is this an IP camera or an analogue camera?
