HiLook Pro by Hikvision IPC-T581H-MU_BLK 8MP Hi-Color Fixed Turret Network Camera (BLACK)
The HiLook IPC-T581H-MU-BLK is an 8MP (4K) Hi-Color turret camera that records in full colour around the clock — there is no infrared and no black-and-white night mode. A very fast F1.0 lens and a large 1/1.8" sensor gather enough light to keep true colour after dark, helped by a white LED to about 30 metres, so clothing and vehicle colour stay visible when it matters most. Deep-learning human and vehicle classification keeps alerts accurate, an arrayed dual-microphone records clear audio, and a 130 dB scene-adaptive WDR sensor handles harsh contrast. It runs over one PoE cable behind an IP67 metal housing. This is the black model.

§ 01Overview
What the IPC-T581H-MU-BLK is
The HiLook IPC-T581H-MU-BLK is an 8MP Hi-Color turret camera built around one idea: keep everything in full colour, day and night.
Where a normal camera drops to black and white in the dark, this one uses an ultra-fast F1.0 lens and a large 1/1.8" sensor to pull in far more light, backed by a warm white LED to about 30 metres.
The result is true-colour footage after dark, so you can describe a jacket, a car or a face by colour rather than guessing from a grey image.
There is no infrared mode at all — this is a dedicated full-colour camera, which also means no IR glow and no reflection off glass.
At 4K (3840 × 2160) it has the resolution to make that colour detail count for identifying people and vehicles, and deep-learning classification filters alerts down to humans and cars instead of every animal, branch or shadow.
It adds face capture and perimeter analytics such as line-crossing and intrusion, while an arrayed dual-microphone records clear audio alongside the video.
A 130 dB scene-adaptive WDR sensor balances bright lights and deep shade in the same frame, which suits car parks, shopfronts and entrances that mix glare and darkness.
Two honest notes worth knowing before you buy.
First, because it relies on white light rather than infrared, it works best where there is at least some ambient light or where the white LED can reach — in pitch-black areas beyond about 30 metres a hybrid or infrared camera may suit better.
Second, it has an arrayed dual-microphone but no built-in speaker, so it records audio but does not offer two-way talk.
It comes in a 2.8 mm or 4 mm lens, runs over one PoE cable (802.3af) or 12 V DC, and sits behind an IP67 metal housing.
This is the black version; a white model is also available, and both are genuine stock with a local 3-year warranty.

Detail you can describe
8MP resolution plus full colour means you can identify clothing and vehicle colour rather than guessing from grey.
Accurate alerts
Deep-learning human and vehicle classification, face capture and perimeter rules keep notifications relevant.
Built for hard light
130 dB scene-adaptive WDR balances glare and shade, which suits car parks, shopfronts and bright entrances.
§ 05Where it fits
Right at home in these scenarios
Lit shopfronts and entrances
Full-colour 4K footage of an entry or till area where there is some ambient or signage light at night.
Car parks and forecourts
Colour detail of vehicles and people under existing lighting, with WDR handling headlights and shadows.
Driveways and front yards
Identify a visitor or vehicle by colour after dark within the white-light range, with people and vehicle alerts.
Areas where IR is a problem
Behind glass or near reflective surfaces, full-colour white-light imaging avoids the wash-out of infrared.
§ 06Setup
Installation & setup
What's in the box
One IPC-T581H-MU-BLK turret camera with mounting accessories and a quick start guide. A HiLook NVR, PoE switch or power supply, network cable and any microSD card are supplied separately. Optional brackets include the DS-1273ZJ-140 wall mount.
Installation requirements
Fit it to a wall or ceiling aimed across the area, ideally where there is some ambient light or the white LED can reach, and run one network cable to a HiLook PoE NVR or switch (or use 12 V DC). Activate it on the NVR or in the app, set the AI rules, and test the night colour view before relying on it.

§ 09Bundles
Recommended packages
Record it on a HiLook NVR
Pair it with a PoE recorder such as the NVR-104MH-C-4P (4-channel), the NVR-108MH-C-8P (8-channel) or the NVR-216MH-C-16P (16-channel); the NVR powers each camera over its built-in ports.
Add a surveillance hard drive
HiLook NVRs ship without a drive — add a surveillance-grade 2TB hard drive or 6TB hard drive to record continuously.
Need night infrared instead?
For dark areas beyond the white-light range, the IPC-T383H-MU adds Smart Hybrid Light with 30 m infrared.
Want deterrence and talk-back?
The IPC-T289H-MU all-in-one adds a strobe, siren and two-way audio for active deterrence.
