The Hikvision DS-2DF8225IX-AEL(W) is a long-range DarkFighter speed dome made to cover wide perimeters, yards, car parks and public spaces from one moving camera.

A motorised 5.7-142.5 mm lens gives 25x optical zoom, so you can pull a distant subject in close, while continuous 360° endless pan and -20° to 90° tilt let you, or the analytics, steer the view anywhere across the scene.

A 2 MP sensor keeps streaming and storage light for a busy PTZ.

Its strength is seeing at distance in poor light.

DarkFighter low-light technology captures clean, low-noise images in near-darkness, and long-range smart infrared illuminates the scene at night and automatically adjusts its beam angle to match the zoom, so distant subjects stay lit as you zoom in.

Deep-learning analytics detect and auto-track human and vehicle targets - the camera pans, tilts and zooms to follow a target on its own - and it captures faces and supports road-traffic vehicle detection.

A 120 dB WDR handles glare and deep shadow on exposed sites.

One DS-2DF8225IX-AEL(W) 8-inch DarkFighter speed dome with mounting hardware and documentation. The Hi-PoE source or 24 VAC power supply, bracket, network cable and any NVR are supplied separately.

Installation requirements

Mount it on a sturdy wall bracket, pole or pendant over the area to cover, allowing for its size and weight. Provide a Hi-PoE source or a 24 VAC supply rated for the camera, its infrared and its heater, connect the network, set the presets, patrols and deep-learning auto-tracking in the software, and add it to a Hikvision NVR that supports PTZ control.
