§ 01Overview
What the iDS-2CD7586G2-XZHS-Y is
The Hikvision iDS-2CD7586G2-XZHSY is an 8 MP (4K) member of the DeepinView professional range, combining ultra-high-resolution imaging with serious on-board intelligence.
A large 1/1.8" sensor delivers 3840 x 2160 detail, DarkFighter 2.0 and 140 dB Wide Dynamic Range keep the picture clean in deep shade and bright glare, and ShotN technology captures clear stills of fast-moving people and vehicles.
With 5 TOPS of deep-learning power it captures and compares faces, counts people, and classifies human and vehicle targets for accurate perimeter alarms.
Like the 4 MP model in the range it uses PTRZ.
Motorised pan, tilt, rotate and zoom let you frame and focus the exact 4K view remotely from a phone, browser or recorder after the dome is mounted, with no need to open the dome or return to the pole.
To be clear, PTRZ is an install and adjustment feature, not a roaming speed dome, so the camera does not patrol or auto-track on its own.
The motorised 2.8 to 12 mm lens (an 8 to 32 mm option is available) with P-iris covers a wide entrance through to a tighter lane.
A hybrid IR and white-light supplement reaches up to 40 metres, with Smart Supplement Light to protect close subjects from glare.
The white light gives full-colour images at night for the lit area, while at longer range under infrared the picture is black and white.
Two built-in microphones and a speaker provide two-way audio, and the IP67 and IK10 metal body, with a NEMA 4X option on this -Y model, is made for demanding outdoor sites.
Being 4K and AI-heavy it produces a large stream, so plan a high-bandwidth recorder; a DeepinMind NVR is the natural partner for face libraries.

§ 04Why choose this
Built for the way you actually use the iDS-2CD7586G2-XZHS-Y
Frame it from anywhere
Motorised PTRZ sets pan, tilt, rotate and zoom remotely after fitting, cutting install time and keeping the dome sealed and clean.
Sees in the hardest light
DarkFighter 2.0, 140 dB WDR and ShotN hold detail against glare and movement, with full-colour night images under white light.
Made for demanding sites
An IP67 and IK10 body with NEMA 4X anti-corrosion suits exposed transport, industrial and critical-infrastructure positions.
§ 05Where it fits
Right at home in these scenarios
Critical infrastructure
High-detail 4K monitoring of utilities, transport and government sites needing edge AI and a rugged body.
Major entrances and lobbies
Face capture and compare with two-way audio at busy doors and reception points.
Car parks and approaches
Read people and vehicles across a wide entry with the zoom and analytics to flag events.
Stadiums and public spaces
People counting and 4K evidence across large crowds, with full-colour detail under white light at night.
§ 06Setup
Installation & setup
In the box
DeepinView PTRZ dome, mounting base and the printed guide. A pendant, wall box or pole mount is selected to suit the position and bought separately.
Power and cabling
Run a single gigabit network cable for PoE (802.3at). A gigabit switch or NVR port matters so the 4K AI streams are not bottlenecked.
Mounting
Fix the base to a solid wall or ceiling and feed the cable through before clicking on the camera, so the dome stays sealed during the fit.
Setup
Use PTRZ to frame and focus the 4K view remotely, build the face, people-counting and perimeter rules, and set the white-light and two-way audio modes in the recorder.
§ 07Questions

§ 09Bundles
Recommended packages
Pair with a DeepinMind NVR
Run face libraries and analytics on the iDS-7716NXI-M4/16P/X DeepInMind face-recognition NVR, or the iDS-7732NXI-M4/16P/X 32-channel DeepInMind NVR for larger 4K systems with more bandwidth.
Add continuous-duty storage
These NVRs ship without drives, so fit an 8TB surveillance hard drive or a 10TB surveillance hard drive for 24/7 recording of the large 4K stream.
Add a PoE switch if needed
Power it and other cameras from a NS-0109P-60 8-port PoE switch when recorder ports run short.
