§ 01Overview
What the iDS-2CD7546G2-XZHS-Y is
The Hikvision iDS-2CD7546G2-XZHS(Y) sits at the top of the DeepinView professional range, a 4 MP dome built for sites that need real intelligence at the edge, not just a clear picture.
A large 1/1.8" sensor and 150 dB Wide Dynamic Range hold detail in harsh, mixed light, and the camera records up to 60 fps so fast movement stays sharp.
With 2.5 TOPS of on-board deep learning it captures and compares faces, counts people, classifies human and vehicle targets for perimeter rules, and reads metadata that a control room or DeepinMind recorder can act on.
The headline feature is PTRZ.
The lens has motorised pan, tilt, rotate and zoom, so once the dome is on the wall or ceiling you frame and focus the exact view from a phone, web browser or the recorder, with no need to open the dome or climb back up.
It is important to be clear about what this is and is not: PTRZ is for setup and adjustment, it is not a roaming speed dome, so it does not patrol or auto-track on its own.
The motorised 2.8 to 12 mm lens (an 8 to 32 mm version is available) with P-iris covers anything from a wide lobby to a tighter gate or lane.
Night performance is handled by a hybrid IR and white-light supplement reaching up to 40 metres, with Smart Supplement Light to avoid over-exposing close subjects.
The white light lets the camera give full-colour images at night for the area it lights, while at longer range under infrared the picture is black and white.
Two built-in microphones and a speaker support two-way audio, and the metal body is rated IP67 and IK10, with a NEMA 4X anti-corrosion option on the -Y model.
It runs on standard PoE and records to a Hikvision NVR; for face-library comparison and storage, a DeepinMind recorder is the natural match.

§ 04Why choose this
Built for the way you actually use the iDS-2CD7546G2-XZHS-Y
Frame the shot from your desk
Motorised PTRZ sets pan, tilt, rotate and zoom remotely after fitting, cutting install and re-visit time and keeping the dome sealed.
Clear in the hardest light
A 1/1.8" sensor and 150 dB WDR hold detail against glare and deep shade, with full-colour night images under white light.
Built to last outdoors
An IP67 and IK10 metal body, with a NEMA 4X anti-corrosion option, suits exposed entrances, yards and transport sites.
§ 05Where it fits
Right at home in these scenarios
Building entrances and lobbies
Capture and compare faces at doors and reception, with two-way audio to speak to visitors.
Car parks and gates
Read vehicle and people movement at entry lanes, using the zoom and analytics to flag events.
Critical infrastructure
High-detail monitoring of utilities, transport and industrial sites that need edge AI and a rugged body.
Retail and public areas
People counting and queue insight alongside clear, full-colour evidence under white light at night.
§ 06Setup
Installation & setup
In the box
DeepinView PTRZ dome, mounting base and the printed guide. A pendant, wall box or pole mount is selected to suit the position and bought separately.
Power and cabling
Run a single gigabit network cable for PoE (802.3at). Use a gigabit-capable switch or NVR port so the AI streams are not bottlenecked.
Mounting
Fix the base to a solid wall or ceiling and feed the cable through before clicking the camera on, so the dome stays sealed and clean during the fit.
Setup
Use PTRZ to frame and focus the view remotely, set the face, people-counting and perimeter rules, and configure the white-light and two-way audio modes in the recorder or client.

Recommended packages
Pair with a DeepinMind NVR
To run face libraries and analytics centrally, record it on the iDS-7716NXI-M4/16P/X DeepInMind face-recognition NVR. For standard recording, the DS-7616NI-M2/16P 16-channel PoE NVR also works (a firmware update may be needed for full features).
Add surveillance storage
The DeepInMind NVR ships without drives, so fit an 8TB surveillance hard drive or a 10TB surveillance hard drive rated for continuous recording.
Power extra cameras
Add a NS-0109P-60 8-port PoE switch where you need more PoE ports for a multi-camera site.
