What the DS-2CD7A26G0-IZHS is
The Hikvision DS-2CD7A26G0-IZHS is a DeepinView bullet camera specialised for face capture.
Rather than chasing pixels, it uses a 2 MP 1/1.8" sensor at a high frame rate and on-board deep-learning models to detect faces, track them, capture the best shot and read attributes such as gender, age and expression.
A face-exposure function adjusts the exposure on the face area so the captured picture stays clear even when the background is bright or dark.
The motorised 2.8 to 12 mm lens (with an 8 to 32 mm option) lets you set the zoom and focus remotely to frame faces at the right size for the entrance you are watching, and infrared reaches up to 50 m on the standard lens for low-light areas.
DarkFighter low-light performance and 140 dB Wide Dynamic Range keep faces legible against the strong backlight of a glass doorway or the shadow of a covered entry, which is where ordinary cameras lose the face.
This is a metal bullet rated IP67 and IK10 for outdoor entrances, powered by PoE or 12 VDC.
It captures and grades faces and outputs the best images and attributes; matching a face against a stored list is done on a compatible recorder or platform, so pair it with a Hikvision NVR that supports the face metadata if you need search or alerts.
As with any face camera, mounting height and angle matter, so plan it for a near head-on view of faces as people approach.
Note this model captures audio through a line connection rather than a built-in microphone, and the night image is infrared black and white.

One DS-2CD7A26G0-IZHS DeepinView bullet camera with a mounting template, fixings and a quick guide. The PoE switch or NVR, network cable, microSD card and any junction box are supplied separately.
Installation requirements
