The Hikvision DS-PDTPH-E-WB is a wireless temperature and humidity sensor for AX PRO alarm systems, adding environmental awareness alongside intrusion detection. It monitors indoor conditions and can alert you through the Hik-Connect app when readings move beyond the thresholds you set, giving early warning before heat, cold or moisture affects equipment, stock or stored materials.

A 2.7-inch on-screen display shows the current temperature and humidity at a glance. The unit measures from -10 to 55°C on its own, and the included external probe extends the range to -35 to 99°C for fridges, freezers and cool rooms. Note that when the external probe is connected the sensor monitors temperature; humidity monitoring is used in the standalone configuration.

It links to the hub over Tri-X two-way wireless on 433MHz, rated up to 800m in open space, with AES-128 encryption and frequency hopping for a reliable, secure connection. Two AAA batteries give up to two years of life, and front and rear tamper switches report any interference. It mounts indoors on a wall and is fully configurable in the app. Note the AX PRO system is not compatible with the older Axiom system.

Mount it on a wall in the area to monitor, away from direct sun, heaters and cooling vents that would skew readings.

Fit the probe if needed

Connect the included external probe and place its tip where you need extended temperature readings, such as inside a cool room.

Power it up and enrol it to the AX PRO hub by power-up, remote ID or QR code in the Hik-Connect app.
