The Hikvision DS-PDTT15AM-LM-WB is a wireless outdoor Tri-Tech detector for the AX PRO alarm range, built to catch intruders at the perimeter before they reach the building. Reliable outdoor detection is hard because sun, rain, wind and animals constantly try to fool a sensor - so this detector combines two passive infrared sensors with a 24GHz microwave sensor and uses triple-signal logic, alarming only when the technologies agree.
It covers 15m over a 90-degree field that adjusts up to 180 degrees, across 92 detection zones, and mounts low on a wall at 0.8 to 1.2m to watch a yard, side passage or boundary. Pet immunity up to 40kg lets dogs and cats roam without tripping it, active IR anti-masking reports any attempt to spray or cover the lens, and anti-sway analytics filter out repetitive movement such as swaying branches. An included pattern mask lets you shape the coverage to the area, and front and rear tamper switches add security.
It links to the hub over Tri-X two-way wireless on 433MHz, rated up to 1km in open space, with AES-128 encryption and frequency hopping against jamming. Five CR123A batteries give up to five years of life (reduced in very cold conditions), and an IP65 housing handles direct weather from -25 to 60 degrees C.
