01Overview

What the KIT-HDW3849H-S2-2CAM-HFW3849T1-S2-2CAM-NVR4104-NOHDD is

Plan each position around the type of coverage it needs. This 4-camera kit combines 2 white DH-IPC-HDW3849H-AS-PV-ANZ-S2 8MP turret cameras with 2 white DH-IPC-HFW3849T1-AS-PV-ANZ-S2 8MP bullet cameras and one DHI-NVR4104HS-P-AI/ANZ 4-channel PoE recorder. All supplied camera lenses are 2.8 mm.

HDW3849H-S2 (2 included): 8MP 3840 × 2160 at up to 25/30 fps, subject to stream settings; Smart Dual Light with IR and warm light, each rated up to 30 m; SMD 4.0 and human/vehicle classification for tripwire and intrusion; Red/blue warning lights, voice alarm, built-in microphone and speaker with two-way talk; 120 dB WDR and IP67 metal housing. Smart Dual Light uses IR for black-and-white viewing and can enable warm light for a detected target to capture colour. Red/blue warning lights, voice alarms and two-way talk are available on this TiOC S2 camera; configure event rules for the site.

HFW3849T1-S2 (2 included): 8MP 3840 × 2160 at up to 25/30 fps, subject to stream settings; Smart Dual Light with IR and warm light, each rated up to 30 m; SMD 4.0 and human/vehicle classification for tripwire and intrusion; Red/blue warning lights, voice alarm, dual microphones and speaker with two-way talk; 120 dB WDR and IP67 metal/plastic housing. Smart Dual Light uses IR for black-and-white viewing and can enable warm light for a detected target to capture colour. Red/blue warning lights, voice alarms and two-way talk are available on this TiOC S2 camera; configure event rules for the site.

The recorder provides 4 camera inputs, 4 built-in PoE ports, HDMI and VGA outputs, and one SATA drive bay. The supplied cameras use all 4 recorder channels and PoE ports. Plan a larger or additional recording system if more cameras are required. Its live display decoding capacity and AI processing limits are separate from the number of cameras it can record; choose suitable substreams for a multi-camera grid.

Connect one suitable Ethernet cable from each camera to a recorder PoE port. The specified maximum camera PoE loads total 39 W before cable losses. Allow for remaining power and bandwidth when adding cameras. No hard drive is included. Fit compatible surveillance SATA storage before relying on NVR recording. Size it for all 4 cameras, their bitrates, recording schedules and required retention; no fixed number of recording days is promised. Network cabling and optional mounting accessories are separate.

Use the current NVR4104HS-P-AI/ANZ recorder revision rated for 45 W total PoE. Older/store revisions quote 36 W; verify the supplied hardware and cable losses.

04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the KIT-HDW3849H-S2-2CAM-HFW3849T1-S2-2CAM-NVR4104-NOHDD

Different camera types for different positions

Allocate the 2 TiOC S2 + 2 TiOC S2 mix deliberately. Put each camera where its illumination and audio capabilities meet the actual scene rather than distributing them at random.

One recorder for the supplied views

Connect the 4 cameras to the recorder's built-in PoE ports. The supplied cameras use all 4 recorder channels and PoE ports. Plan a larger or additional recording system if more cameras are required.

Choose lighting deliberately

HDW3849H-S2: Smart Dual Light uses IR for black-and-white viewing and can enable warm light for a detected target to capture colour. Red/blue warning lights, voice alarms and two-way talk are available on this TiOC S2 camera; configure event rules for the site. HFW3849T1-S2: Smart Dual Light uses IR for black-and-white viewing and can enable warm light for a detected target to capture colour. Red/blue warning lights, voice alarms and two-way talk are available on this TiOC S2 camera; configure event rules for the site.

Plan recording and playback

No hard drive is included. Fit compatible surveillance SATA storage before relying on NVR recording. Size it for all 4 cameras, their bitrates, recording schedules and required retention; no fixed number of recording days is promised. Set event zones and recording schedules, then play back sample recordings before relying on the installation.

05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Entrances and points of activity

Assign the 2 TiOC S2 cameras to the positions that benefit most from their documented features, then use the 2 TiOC S2 cameras for the remaining routes or activity areas. Test detail at the target distance and check the image after dark.

Shops, offices and warehouses

Map the camera positions around entries, counters, loading access, stock areas or corridors. Keep views clear of shelving and ensure the lighting arrangement suits each camera.

Outdoor approaches

The camera housings are IP67-rated. Weatherproof exposed connections, avoid direct strong light in the lens and keep lenses clean. Install the NVR in a dry, ventilated indoor position.

Q.01

Does this kit include a hard drive?
No. The base configuration contains 2 × HDW3849H-S2 8MP TiOC S2 + 2 × HFW3849T1-S2 8MP TiOC S2 and one DHI-NVR4104HS-P-AI/ANZ recorder, without storage. The recorder has one SATA bay. Select compatible surveillance storage separately for bitrate, recording schedule and retention.
Q.02

How should I assign the different cameras?
Choose positions by the required image, lighting and audio. 2 × HDW3849H-S2: Smart Dual Light uses IR for black-and-white viewing and can enable warm light for a detected target to capture colour. Red/blue warning lights, voice alarms and two-way talk are available on this TiOC S2 camera; configure event rules for the site. 2 × HFW3849T1-S2: Smart Dual Light uses IR for black-and-white viewing and can enable warm light for a detected target to capture colour. Test the actual mounting angle and night scene before finalising each position.
Q.03

Can I add more cameras?
The supplied cameras use all 4 recorder channels and PoE ports. Plan a larger or additional recording system if more cameras are required.
Q.04

Will all cameras provide colour images in darkness?
HDW3849H-S2: Smart Dual Light uses IR for black-and-white viewing and can enable warm light for a detected target to capture colour. Red/blue warning lights, voice alarms and two-way talk are available on this TiOC S2 camera; configure event rules for the site. HFW3849T1-S2: Smart Dual Light uses IR for black-and-white viewing and can enable warm light for a detected target to capture colour. Q.05

How are the cameras powered?
The supplied set connects to 4 of the recorder's 4 built-in PoE ports, using one suitable Ethernet cable per camera for power and video. Cabling is not included. The calculated maximum camera-set PoE demand is 39 W before cable losses.
Q.06

What should I check when setting recording quality?
HDW3849H-S2: 3840 × 2160 up to 25/30 fps. HFW3849T1-S2: 3840 × 2160 up to 25/30 fps. Frame-rate limits depend on stream settings and video standard. NVR recording bandwidth, AI processing limits and simultaneous live-view decoding are separate considerations; use suitable substreams for multi-camera grids.
Q.07

What PoE power allowance does this full camera set need?
Use the current NVR4104HS-P-AI/ANZ recorder revision rated for 45 W total PoE. Older/store revisions quote 36 W; verify the supplied hardware and cable losses.
Q.08

Does this kit include AcuPick smart search?
The selected recorder is the standard NVR4104 AI model. Quick Pick can help search for people and vehicles in suitable SMD event videos when used with compatible cameras and firmware. AcuPick is a separate end-to-end search capability that requires a compatible recorder and camera configuration; the NVR5208 AcuPick upgrade shown on the comparison listing is not included in this base kit. Select by camera coverage, recording needs and event search requirements rather than treating AcuPick as necessary for ordinary recording.
