04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the KIT-HDW3849H-PRO-8CAM-NVR4108-NOHDD

A defined camera plan

Plan 8 views around entrances, approaches and activity areas. Identify the detail required at each position before choosing mounting height and angle.

One recorder for the supplied views

The recorder supports the supplied number of camera views. The supplied cameras fill all recorder channels. Additional views require a larger or additional recorder.

Choose lighting deliberately

HDW3849H-PRO: WizColor combines a 1/1.8-inch sensor, F1.0 lens and AI-ISP for low-light colour. Smart Dual Light can use infrared for black-and-white viewing or warm light for colour events. This TiOC PRO camera also has red/blue warning lights, voice alarms and two-way talk; set illumination and event rules for the scene.

Plan recording and playback

No hard drive is included. Fit compatible surveillance SATA storage before relying on NVR recording. Size it for all 8 cameras, their bitrates, recording schedules and required retention; no fixed number of recording days is promised. Set event zones and recording schedules, then play back sample recordings before relying on the installation.

05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Entrances and points of activity

Use the 8 cameras to give each entrance, driveway or activity area a separate view. Test detail at the target distance and check the image after dark.

Shops, offices and warehouses

Map the camera positions around entries, counters, loading access, stock areas or corridors. Keep views clear of shelving and ensure the lighting arrangement suits each camera.

Outdoor approaches

The camera housings are IP67-rated. Weatherproof exposed connections, avoid direct strong light in the lens and keep lenses clean. Install the NVR in a dry, ventilated indoor position.

08Questions

Frequently asked about the KIT-HDW3849H-PRO-8CAM-NVR4108-NOHDD

Q.01

Does this kit include a hard drive?
No. The base configuration contains 8 × HDW3849H-PRO 8MP WizColor TiOC PRO and one DHI-NVR4108HS-8P-AI/ANZ recorder, without storage. The recorder has one SATA bay. Select compatible surveillance storage separately for bitrate, recording schedule and retention.
Q.02

Where should I place the cameras?
Plan a separate view for each activity area or access route. WizColor combines a 1/1.8-inch sensor, F1.0 lens and AI-ISP for low-light colour. Smart Dual Light can use infrared for black-and-white viewing or warm light for colour events. This TiOC PRO camera also has red/blue warning lights, voice alarms and two-way talk; set illumination and event rules for the scene.
Q.03

Can I add more cameras?
The supplied cameras fill all recorder channels. Additional views require a larger or additional recorder.
Q.04

Will all cameras provide colour images in darkness?
HDW3849H-PRO: WizColor combines a 1/1.8-inch sensor, F1.0 lens and AI-ISP for low-light colour. Smart Dual Light can use infrared for black-and-white viewing or warm light for colour events. This TiOC PRO camera also has red/blue warning lights, voice alarms and two-way talk; set illumination and event rules for the scene.
Q.05

How are the cameras powered?
Camera data connections and power delivery must be designed together.
Q.06

What should I check when setting recording quality?
HDW3849H-PRO: 3840 × 2160 up to 25/30 fps. Frame-rate limits depend on stream settings and video standard. NVR recording bandwidth, AI processing limits and simultaneous live-view decoding are separate considerations; use suitable substreams for multi-camera grids.
Q.07

Does this kit include full AcuPick smart search?
The supplied recorder is the standard NVR4108 AI model. Quick Pick helps search for people and vehicles in suitable SMD event video when used with compatible cameras and firmware. AcuPick is a separate end-to-end search capability requiring a compatible recorder and camera configuration; full AcuPick search is not promised for this base kit. Choose camera coverage and recording needs alongside the search functions you will actually use.
