01Overview

What the KIT-HDW3849H-PRO-5CAM-NVR4108-NOHDD is

Give each access route or activity area its own camera view. This 5-camera kit combines 5 white DH-IPC-HDW3849H-AS-PV-PRO-ANZ 8MP turret cameras and one DHI-NVR4108HS-8P-AI/ANZ 8-channel PoE recorder. All supplied camera lenses are 2.8 mm.

HDW3849H-PRO (5 included): 8MP 3840 × 2160 at up to 25/30 fps, subject to stream settings; 1/1.8-inch sensor, F1.0 lens and WizColor AI-ISP; IR and warm light, each rated up to 30 m; SMD 4.0 and human/vehicle intrusion and tripwire classification; Red/blue warning lights, voice alarm, dual microphones and speaker with two-way talk; 120 dB WDR and IP67 metal housing. WizColor combines a 1/1.8-inch sensor, F1.0 lens and AI-ISP for low-light colour. Smart Dual Light can use infrared for black-and-white viewing or warm light for colour events. This TiOC PRO camera also has red/blue warning lights, voice alarms and two-way talk; set illumination and event rules for the scene.

The recorder provides 8 camera inputs, 8 built-in PoE ports, HDMI and VGA outputs, and one SATA drive bay. 3 recorder channels and physical PoE ports remain available in this base configuration. Any extra cameras must fit the supported bitrate, power budget and recording settings. Its live display decoding capacity and AI processing limits are separate from the number of cameras it can record; choose suitable substreams for a multi-camera grid.

Connect one suitable Ethernet cable from each camera to a recorder PoE port. The specified maximum camera PoE loads total 50 W before cable losses. Allow for remaining power and bandwidth when adding cameras. No hard drive is included. Fit compatible surveillance SATA storage before relying on NVR recording. Size it for all 5 cameras, their bitrates, recording schedules and required retention; no fixed number of recording days is promised. Network cabling and optional mounting accessories are separate.

04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the KIT-HDW3849H-PRO-5CAM-NVR4108-NOHDD

A defined camera plan

Plan 5 views around entrances, approaches and activity areas. Identify the detail required at each position before choosing mounting height and angle.

One recorder for the supplied views

Connect the 5 cameras to the recorder's built-in PoE ports. 3 recorder channels and physical PoE ports remain available in this base configuration. Any extra cameras must fit the supported bitrate, power budget and recording settings.

Choose lighting deliberately

HDW3849H-PRO: WizColor combines a 1/1.8-inch sensor, F1.0 lens and AI-ISP for low-light colour. Smart Dual Light can use infrared for black-and-white viewing or warm light for colour events. This TiOC PRO camera also has red/blue warning lights, voice alarms and two-way talk; set illumination and event rules for the scene.

Plan recording and playback

No hard drive is included. Fit compatible surveillance SATA storage before relying on NVR recording. Size it for all 5 cameras, their bitrates, recording schedules and required retention; no fixed number of recording days is promised. Set event zones and recording schedules, then play back sample recordings before relying on the installation.

05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Entrances and points of activity

Use the 5 cameras to give each entrance, driveway or activity area a separate view. Test detail at the target distance and check the image after dark.

Shops, offices and warehouses

Map the camera positions around entries, counters, loading access, stock areas or corridors. Keep views clear of shelving and ensure the lighting arrangement suits each camera.

Outdoor approaches

The camera housings are IP67-rated. Weatherproof exposed connections, avoid direct strong light in the lens and keep lenses clean. Install the NVR in a dry, ventilated indoor position.

08Questions

Frequently asked about the KIT-HDW3849H-PRO-5CAM-NVR4108-NOHDD

Q.01

Does this kit include a hard drive?
No. The base configuration contains 5 × HDW3849H-PRO 8MP WizColor TiOC PRO and one DHI-NVR4108HS-8P-AI/ANZ recorder, without storage. The recorder has one SATA bay. Select compatible surveillance storage separately for bitrate, recording schedule and retention.
Q.02

Where should I place the cameras?
Plan a separate view for each activity area or access route.
Q.03

Can I add more cameras?
3 recorder channels and physical PoE ports remain available in this base configuration. Any extra cameras must fit the supported bitrate, power budget and recording settings.
Q.04

Will all cameras provide colour images in darkness?
HDW3849H-PRO: WizColor combines a 1/1.8-inch sensor, F1.0 lens and AI-ISP for low-light colour. Smart Dual Light can use infrared for black-and-white viewing or warm light for colour events. This TiOC PRO camera also has red/blue warning lights, voice alarms and two-way talk; set illumination and event rules for the scene.
Q.05

How are the cameras powered?
The supplied set connects to 5 of the recorder's 8 built-in PoE ports, using one suitable Ethernet cable per camera for power and video. Cabling is not included. The calculated maximum camera-set PoE demand is 50 W before cable losses.
Q.06

What should I check when setting recording quality?
HDW3849H-PRO: 3840 × 2160 up to 25/30 fps. Frame-rate limits depend on stream settings and video standard. NVR recording bandwidth, AI processing limits and simultaneous live-view decoding are separate considerations; use suitable substreams for multi-camera grids.
Q.07

Does this kit include full AcuPick smart search?
The supplied recorder is the standard NVR4108 AI model. Quick Pick helps search for people and vehicles in suitable SMD event video when used with compatible cameras and firmware. AcuPick is a separate end-to-end search capability requiring a compatible recorder and camera configuration; full AcuPick search is not promised for this base kit. Choose camera coverage and recording needs alongside the search functions you will actually use.
