§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use it

01

6 MP Resolution on a Budget

3200 × 1800 at 20 fps. Sharper than 4 MP, at a price point that suits multi-camera residential setups.

02

AcuSense Human & Vehicle Detection

Deep learning separates people and cars from animals and leaves. Fewer false alerts than basic motion detection.

03

40 m IR Night Vision

Longer range than most budget bullets. Covers a full driveway or backyard fence line in the dark.

04

120 dB True WDR

Handles bright doorways and shaded areas in the same shot. Useful where a sensor light creates contrast.

05

Built-in Microphone

Records ambient audio. Adds context to footage — hear a door slam, glass break, or conversation.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

01

Driveway or Fence Line

Bullet shape aims naturally down a long run. 40 m IR covers the full length of most residential driveways.

02

Side of House or Gate

Compact and discreet. IP67 handles rain and sprinklers. AcuSense ignores cats and possums.

03

Small Warehouse or Yard

Mount on the wall above the roller door. 6 MP gives enough detail for identifying visitors. PoE simplifies the cable run.

04

Backyard and Shed Area

Point at the back fence or shed. 120 dB WDR handles the contrast between a lit patio and dark lawn.

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked

Q.01

Is HiLook the same as Hikvision?

HiLook is made by Hikvision. It uses the same core hardware but with a simpler feature set and lower price. It is covered by a 3-year warranty in Australia.
Q.02

Does it work with Hikvision NVRs?

Yes. It is fully compatible with Hikvision NVRs. It also works with HiLook NVRs and most ONVIF-compatible recorders.
Q.03

Why is the frame rate 20 fps instead of 25?

At the full 6 MP (3200 × 1800) resolution, max is 20 fps. Drop to 4 MP (2688 × 1520) and you get 25 fps. For surveillance, 20 fps is smooth enough.
Q.04

Does it have a speaker for two-way talk?

No. It has a microphone for recording audio but no built-in speaker. For two-way talk, look at the T269H series with speaker.
Q.05

How does it compare to the turret version (IPC-T261H-MU)?

Same sensor and features, different housing. The bullet suits wall-mount pointing outward. The turret is more discreet for ceiling or soffit mounts.
