The Hikvision DS-2SE4C425MWG-E/14(F0) is a 4 MP TandemVu PTZ camera.

The TandemVu design carries two lenses in one body: a fixed 2.8 mm wide-angle lens that always shows the whole scene, and a 25x optical zoom PTZ lens that pans, tilts and zooms onto a detail.

You never lose the overview while the PTZ is zoomed in, which solves the usual problem of a PTZ being pointed away from an incident.

On-board AcuSense deep learning classifies people and vehicles and filters out movement from trees, rain and animals, so alerts are far more useful.

When the wide lens detects a person or vehicle, the PTZ can swing across and follow the target automatically, then return to its home view.

The fixed lens uses ColorVu with a white light up to 30 m for full-colour images at night, while the PTZ lens uses infrared up to 100 m for long-range night reach, where the zoomed image is black and white.

Two built-in microphones and a built-in speaker give two-way audio, so an operator can listen and talk back through the camera.

This is a metal speed dome rated IP67 with a built-in heater and demister for the Australian climate, supporting up to 300 presets, patrols and patterns.

It runs on 12 VDC or PoE (802.3at), so check your switch or recorder supplies 802.3at.

One DS-2SE4C425MWG-E/14(F0) PTZ speed dome with mounting hardware and a quick guide. The PoE (802.3at) source or 12 VDC supply, network cable, microSD card and any wall or pole bracket are supplied separately.

Installation requirements

Mount it high on a wall, pole or rooftop corner with a clear view of the area, and run one network cable back to a switch or NVR that supplies 802.3at, or use 12 VDC. Set the home view, presets, patrols and AcuSense rules in the software, and record it to a Hikvision AcuSense NVR.
