What's the difference between this IU/SL and the basic IU version?
The IU has a mic but no strobe or speaker. The IU/SL adds a strobe light and built-in speaker for active deterrence and two-way audio. Choose IU/SL if you want visible warnings.
Q.02

Which lens should I choose?
2.8mm for wide areas close to the camera (porch, entry, small room — 105° view). 4mm for medium range (standard driveway). 6mm for narrow, long-distance views (fence line, long corridor — 51° view, detects people at up to 32m DORI).
Q.03

Can I use it with a Dahua NVR?
It supports ONVIF, so basic recording works. But AcuSense smart events, strobe control, and two-way audio require a Hikvision NVR or the Hik-Connect platform.

Does the strobe actually deter people?
The white LED flash combined with a 95dB speaker is attention-grabbing. It won't stop a determined intruder, but it's effective against opportunistic theft and loitering — especially when combined with a visible camera location.

How does it compare to the DS-2CD2067G2H newer model?
The 2067G2H is the next-gen version with Smart Hybrid Light (IR + warm LED) and potentially longer IR range. The 2066G2 uses DarkFighter (IR only, better sensor sensitivity). Both are strong choices — the 2066G2 is often cheaper.
