§ 01Overview

What the DS-2CD2346G2P-ISU-SL is

The Hikvision DS-2CD2346G2P-ISU/SL is a 4 MP panoramic AcuSense turret that replaces several standard cameras at a corner with one wide image.

It carries two 1/2.5" sensors behind a single 2.8 mm dual-lens, stitched into one continuous 180 degree horizontal view at 3040 x 1368, so you cover a whole frontage, car park or yard from one position without the blind spots a single-lens camera leaves at the edges.

AcuSense deep learning classifies people and vehicles across the wide scene and runs perimeter rules that alarm only on those targets, which cuts the false alarms that branches, rain and animals cause.

It is built for active deterrence as well: when a person or vehicle is detected, the /SL white light flashes as a strobe and the speaker sounds an audible alarm, moving an intruder on in real time.

A built-in microphone and speaker also give two-way audio, so an operator can listen and talk back.

Its low-light imaging holds colour as light fades, and in full darkness it uses infrared up to 30 m, so the night image is black and white.

It is a metal turret rated IP67 against dust and water.

Note that the datasheet lists IP67 only and does not give an IK impact rating, so it is weatherproof rather than rated vandal-resistant.

A microSD slot takes a card up to 512 GB and H.265+ keeps the wide stream efficient.

It runs on PoE (802.3af) or 12 VDC.

Because the view is wide rather than long, mount it where you want broad situational awareness rather than long-range detail, and record it to a Hikvision AcuSense NVR so the events and audio stay easy to review.

What's in the box

Installation requirements

Mount it at a corner or on a wall overlooking the area to cover in full, keeping the 180 degree view clear of obstructions near the lens. Run one network cable back to a PoE (802.3af) switch or NVR, or use 12 VDC, set the AcuSense rules, strobe and audio responses in the software, and record it to a Hikvision AcuSense NVR.

How does the 180 degree panoramic view work?
The camera has two sensors behind a dual-lens, and it stitches their images into one continuous 180 degree horizontal view. That covers a whole frontage or yard from a single corner without the blind spots a normal single-lens camera leaves at the edges.

AcuSense classifies people and vehicles, so perimeter rules and the deterrence trigger only on those targets. Moving branches, rain and animals are far less likely to set off an alert than on a basic motion camera.
