What the DS-2CD6D44G1H-IZS is

The Hikvision DS-2CD6D44G1H-IZS is a multi-sensor panoramic camera that combines four separate 4 MP cameras in one housing.

Each of the four lenses is a motorised 2.8 to 12 mm varifocal that you can pan, tilt and zoom independently, so you point each one where it is needed and cover a full 360 degrees, or a wide arc, from a single mounting point.

Because the four images come from one device on one network cable, it cuts the cabling, switch ports and recorder channels you would use for four separate cameras.

Each sensor records 4 MP (2688 x 1520), so the combined view keeps strong detail right across a wide scene rather than stretching one lens too thin.

120 dB Wide Dynamic Range and 3D digital noise reduction hold detail in mixed light, such as a glass foyer or a yard at dusk, and built-in infrared reaches up to 30 m for low-light areas.

On-board smart events include behaviour rules such as line crossing and intrusion across the sensors.

This is a metal panoramic camera rated IP67 and IK10 for outdoor and exposed sites, with mounting options for a corner, a pole or a pendant drop, a microSD slot for on-board storage and audio and alarm connections for external devices.

It is powered by Hi-PoE, so check your switch or recorder supplies enough power.

Note audio is handled through a line-in connection for an external microphone rather than a built-in one.

Record it to a Hikvision NVR with enough channels and bandwidth for the four streams.

What's in the box

One DS-2CD6D44G1H-IZS panoramic camera with mounting hardware and a quick guide. The Hi-PoE switch or NVR, network cable, microSD card and any pole or pendant adaptor are supplied separately.

Installation requirements

Mount it on a corner, pole or pendant overlooking the area, aim and zoom each of the four lenses for the coverage you want, and run one network cable back to a Hi-PoE source. Set the smart events in the software, and record it to a Hikvision NVR with enough channels and bandwidth for the multiple streams.
