The Hikvision DS-2CD5546G0-IZS is a 4 MP DarkFighter motorised varifocal dome built for professional sites that need clean low-light images and intelligent filtering.

The large 1/1.8" sensor and an F1.2 P-Iris lens capture low-noise detail in dim conditions, while 140 dB Wide Dynamic Range keeps both bright and shaded parts of a scene readable at entrances, tunnels and loading areas.

Unlike the 2 MP DarkFighter dome, this model adds AcuSense: deep-learning analytics classify human and vehicle targets, so line-crossing, intrusion and motion events trigger on people and cars and skip animals, rain and moving branches.

It also captures faces for review.

The motorised 2.8 to 12 mm lens sets zoom and focus remotely, and built-in infrared reaches up to 40 m for clear black and white footage at night.

This is a vandal-resistant metal dome rated IP67 and IK10 with a built-in heater for cold or exposed positions, a microSD slot up to 256 GB and an analogue CVBS output for set-up.

It runs on PoE, 12 VDC or 24 VAC.

Audio is handled through a line-in and a line-out connector for an external microphone and speaker; there is no built-in microphone or speaker on this model.

Record it to a Hikvision AcuSense NVR so the human and vehicle events stay quick to search.

What's in the box

One DS-2CD5546G0-IZS dome camera with a mounting template, fixings and a quick guide. The PoE switch or NVR, network cable, microSD card and any wall or pendant mount are supplied separately.

Installation requirements

Mount it on a ceiling or wall overlooking the area, and run one network cable back to a PoE switch or NVR, or use 12 VDC or 24 VAC. Set the zoom, focus and AcuSense rules in the software, add external audio to the line-in and line-out if needed, and record it to a Hikvision AcuSense NVR.
