The Hikvision DS-PDCL12DT-EG2 is a wired dual-technology ceiling detector for high-security indoor rooms. From an overhead position its circular lens covers a whole room out to 12 metres across 172 zones, with no blind corners.

It pairs Passive Infrared with a 24GHz microwave sensor and only alarms when both technologies agree, which strongly reduces false alarms from heat sources, draughts and lighting changes. Creep-zone protection sees directly beneath the sensor so an intruder cannot bypass it by hugging the mounting point, and digital temperature compensation with sealed optics keeps detection consistent.

This is a wired detector, not a wireless one. It runs on 9-16VDC (12VDC typical) and has an onboard end-of-line resistor, selectable by jumper on the tamper and alarm terminals, so it wires into a conventional alarm zone. It is Grade 2 rated for interior use, mounts at 2.4m to 4m indoors, and works with the Hikvision AX Hybrid Pro panel as well as other conventional wired and hybrid panels that use EOLR zones.
