§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use it

01

5 MP HDCVI over Coaxial Cable

Transmits HD video over existing coax cabling. No need to replace wiring when upgrading from analog SD cameras.

02

Motorised 2.7–13.5 mm Zoom

Remote focus and zoom. Adjust coverage after installation without touching the camera.

03

80 m Smart IR

Long IR range covers driveways, fence lines, and large yards. Smart IR adjusts to avoid overexposure.

04

Starlight with 120 dB WDR

Colour footage in very low light. WDR handles bright and dark areas in the same frame.

05

4-in-1 Output (HDCVI/TVI/AHD/CVBS)

Switchable via DIP switch. Compatible with most DVR/XVR brands.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

01

Upgrading an Analog System

Replace old SD cameras with 5 MP without re-cabling. Use existing coax runs up to 500 m.

02

Long Driveway or Fence Perimeter

80 m IR covers the full length. Motorised zoom adjusts for different focal needs.

03

Warehouse or Loading Dock

Starlight keeps colour footage in dim industrial lighting. WDR handles roller door contrast.

04

Car Park or Forecourt

Zoom in on plates from a distance. 5 MP gives enough detail for identification.

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked

Q.01

Is this an IP camera?

No. It is an HDCVI (analog HD) camera that uses coaxial cable. It connects to a Dahua XVR, not an NVR. For IP networking, choose an IPC-series model.
Q.02

What is 4-in-1 output?

The camera can output HDCVI, HDTVI, AHD, or CVBS (standard analog) via a DIP switch. This makes it compatible with most brands of DVR.
Q.03

Does it need PoE?

No. It uses 12V DC power only. Run a separate power cable or use a 12V power distribution box.
Q.04

Does it have audio?

Yes. Built-in microphone. Audio is transmitted over the coax cable to the XVR.
Q.05

Is this model still available?

It has been superseded by the HAC-HFW2501TUP-Z-A-S2. Some retailers may send the replacement. Check with the seller.
