Bosch ISC-SK10 Shock Sensor, 3-Axis Vibration Detection
The Bosch ISC-SK10 is a shock sensor for the attack that happens before anything opens: hammering, drilling or sawing at a safe, a strongroom door or a shopfront window. Intelligent 3-axis vibration detection reads the attack, and a normally-closed relay reports it to the alarm panel.
What you get
- 1 × ISC-SK10 shock sensor
- 1 × hardware pack and 1 × installation guide
You'll also need
- An alarm panel with a spare zone that accepts a normally-closed relay and tamper loop, and supplies 9 to 15 VDC. The ICP-SOL3-P and CC610P are the panels sold here; check the zone input against those figures
- A cable run from the panel carrying its 9 to 15 VDC supply, the alarm relay and the tamper, plus the end-of-line resistors the panel requires
- A flat indoor surface to mount it on: metal, glass, concrete or wood
Delivery, warranty & returns · ships same day before 2pm
- Same-day dispatch on in-stock orders placed before 2pm, Sydney time.
- 1–4 business days Australia-wide. Free standard shipping over $300, flat $25 under.
- 3-year warranty on cameras and recorders, back-to-base, plus your Australian Consumer Law rights.
- 30-day returns on unopened items. Faulty on arrival? We cover return shipping.
- Genuine Australian stock. Never grey imports. Prices include GST.
All cameras, NVRs and DVRs come with a 3-year back-to-base manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Hard drives and accessories are covered as set out in our Warranty Policy.
Standard shipping is free on all orders over $300 AUD, Australia-wide. Orders under $300 ship at a flat rate of $25, calculated at checkout. Tracking is included on every order.
You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to request a change-of-mind return. Items must be unopened, factory-sealed and in resalable condition. A 15% restocking fee applies and return postage is at your cost. Faulty or incorrectly supplied items are different: we cover the return shipping and refund or replace at no charge. Read the full Return & Refund Policy.
Order before 2pm (Sydney time) on a business day and in-stock items are dispatched the same day. Most orders arrive within 1–4 business days Australia-wide; remote and regional areas can take a little longer. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse.
A camera needs an NVR, a hard drive, and cabling to work. Add everything below, or pick a ready-made kit.
§ 01Overview
What the ISC-SK10 is
The Bosch ISC-SK10 watches the structure rather than the opening. A motion detector sees an intruder who is already inside and a reed switch sees a door that has been opened; this one reacts while someone is still working on the outside of a safe, a roller door or a window.
Range depends on what it is stuck to, because vibration travels differently through different materials. The sensor covers a 1.5 m radius on concrete, 2.5 m on a brick wall, 3 m on steel and 3.5 m on wood or glass, so the same sensor reaches further through steel or glass than through concrete, and a concrete wall wants it closer to the point being protected.
Setting it up is the part that usually goes wrong on shock sensors, and this one helps. Self-learning mode records and analyses simulated vibration over a three minute interval and then suggests a suitable sensitivity level. From there, four sensitivity switches and a potentiometer for fine adjustment set the final level, and a dual-colour LED shows the result on site: green for vibration, red for an alarm. Drilling and sawing detection is separately configurable, which matters because those attacks are slow and rhythmic rather than sharp.
Wiring is conventional. The alarm relay is normally-closed, rated 100 mA at 30 VDC, with a normally-closed tamper rated 50 mA at 30 VDC. It runs from 9 to 15 VDC, 12 VDC nominal, drawing 8.5 mA on standby and 12 mA in alarm, which is a light load on a panel supply.
It is an indoor sensor on a flat surface, in a fire-protection high-intensity PC enclosure measuring 100mm x 30mm x 20mm, rated -10°C to +55°C at under 95% humidity. Choose the position with care: it does not tell an attack from ordinary handling, and a place where people knock, lean or move things against it might generate false alarms. It is not an outdoor sensor either.

ISC-SK10 specifications
Range by material — 1.5 m on concrete, 2.5 m on brick, 3 m on steel, 3.5 m on wood or glass — the reach depends on what it is mounted to, so measure from the point being protected
Self-learning — records and analyses simulated vibration over a three minute interval, then suggests a sensitivity level — commissioning starts from a measurement, not a guess
Sensitivity — four sensitivity level switches plus a potentiometer for fine adjustment — the final level is tuned on the actual surface
Attack types — configurable detection of drilling, sawing and similar vibration — slow, rhythmic attacks are caught as well as blows
Indication — dual-colour LED, green for vibration and red for alarm — a walk-up test shows what the sensor is seeing
Outputs — normally-closed alarm relay at 100 mA, 30 VDC, and a normally-closed tamper at 50 mA, 30 VDC — a conventional panel zone connection
Power — 9 to 15 VDC, 12 VDC nominal, 8.5 mA standby and 12 mA in alarm — a light load on the panel supply
Housing — fire-protection high-intensity PC enclosure, 100mm x 30mm x 20mm, -10°C to +55°C indoors — a slim unit that fits beside a hinge or a frame
