The HiLook HA-ALARM-BKT is a universal adjustable bracket for mounting HiLook Pro wired PIR detectors exactly where they cover best. Many detectors are designed to sit flat on a wall, which can leave blind spots in a corner, across a wide room or down a stairwell. This bracket adds vertical tilt from 0° to 90° and horizontal swivel of ±40°, so you can angle the sensor to cover the doorway, hallway or open area you care about and trim out the spots you do not. It is moulded from durable white ABS and supports both wall and ceiling mounting.

Key points
- Universal mount for HiLook Pro wired PIR detectors
- Vertical adjustment 0° to 90°, horizontal swivel ±40°
- Wall or ceiling mounting for flexible placement
- Durable white ABS construction
- Aims the sensor precisely to reduce blind spots

The HiLook HA-ALARM-PIR1-AUS is a wired indoor PIR motion detector for intruder alarm systems — the sensor that spots someone moving through a room and tells the panel to alarm. It covers up to 18 metres across an 85.9° field of view, ignores pets up to 10 kg to cut false alarms, and uses selectable EOL resistors so it works with the HiLook AX Hybrid Pro panel and most other wired alarm panels. It is a wired detector, not a wireless one, and needs a control panel to operate.

Key points
- Passive infrared detection: up to 18 m range, 85.9° field of view
- Pet immunity up to 10 kg to reduce false alarms from small animals
- 3D optics, digital temperature compensation and creep-zone protection
- Selectable EOL resistors — compatible with most wired alarm panels, not just HiLook
- Wired connection on 9–16 VDC with reverse-polarity protection; wall or ceiling mount 1.8–2.4 m
- HiLook AX Hybrid Pro range; requires a control panel; 3-year warranty

The HiLook HA-ALARM-SIREN1 is a wired external sounder for intruder alarm systems — the loud, visible part that turns a triggered alarm into a deterrent. It delivers up to 105 dB of sound at 30 cm and has an independent LED flash, so an activation is both heard and seen. An IP54-rated PC+ABS shell suits indoor or sheltered outdoor mounting, and it runs from the 12 volt siren output of a wired alarm panel. It is a sounder, not a standalone alarm, so it needs a control panel to drive it.

Key points
- Up to 105 dB sound output (measured at 30 cm) for an audible deterrent
- Independent LED flash — sound and visual alert can be configured separately
- IP54 rated for indoor or sheltered external wall mounting
- Runs on 8–16 VDC (typically 12 V) from a wired alarm panel siren output
- Rugged PC+ABS shell, 140 × 134 × 33 mm; works with any compatible 12V panel
- HiLook AX Hybrid Pro range; requires a control panel (not a standalone alarm); 3-year warranty

The HiLook HA-ALARM-PIR2-AUS is a wired indoor dual-technology motion detector — the high-accuracy sensor for an intruder alarm. It combines a passive infrared sensor with a 24 GHz microwave sensor, and both have to detect movement before it alarms, which sharply cuts the false alarms that catch single-technology detectors out. It covers up to 12 metres across 52 detection zones, is pet immune up to 30 kg, and uses selectable EOL resistors so it works with the HiLook AX Hybrid Pro panel and most other wired panels.

Key points
- Dual-technology: passive infrared plus 24 GHz microwave (both must trigger to alarm)
- Up to 12 m range, 85.9° field of view, 52 detection zones
- Pet immunity up to 30 kg — the highest in the HiLook wired range
- 3D Fresnel optics, digital temperature compensation, creep-zone protection, front tamper
- Normally-closed alarm output; selectable EOL resistors for most wired panels
- Wired on 9–16 VDC; wall or ceiling mount 1.8–2.4 m; requires a control panel; 3-year warranty

About HiLook Cameras

HiLook is Hikvision's value brand — manufactured in Hikvision facilities to Hikvision quality standards, but with a streamlined feature set that brings professional surveillance within reach of every Australian household. Smarket stocks the full HiLook Australia range with genuine ANZ-specification firmware and 3-year local warranty.

Browse the HiLook Australia range by category: HiLook IP cameras from approximately $80, HiLook NVRs (4CH–16CH with built-in PoE), and complete HiLook CCTV kits from $399 (4 cameras + NVR + HDD).

Every HiLook camera is fully compatible with Hikvision NVRs and the Hik-Connect mobile app — so you can mix HiLook and Hikvision cameras on the same system, upgrading individual positions to premium Hikvision ColorVu or Smart Hybrid Light cameras as your budget allows. No system replacement required.

What's Included in HiLook Cameras

What's in the HiLook Australia range at Smarket:

HiLook IP Security Cameras — Turret and bullet form factors in 4MP, 6MP, and 8MP (4K). From approximately $80 per camera.
HiLook NVRs — 4CH, 8CH, and 16CH recorders with built-in PoE switches and 4K playback support.

Comparing HiLook Cameras Models

HiLook vs Hikvision vs Dahua — Which Should You Choose?

Choose HiLook when budget is the top priority but you still want professional-grade specs. HiLook delivers Hikvision manufacturing quality with a streamlined feature set — IP cameras from $80 and complete kits from $399. Best for: rental properties, secondary residences, small businesses, and first-time DIY installations.

Choose Hikvision when you want premium features like ColorVu full-colour night vision, Smart Hybrid Light, or higher AcuSense AI tiers. Hikvision cameras start higher (typically $150+) but provide the technology ceiling.

Choose Dahua when active deterrence (TiOC siren + strobe + voice) or commercial analytics (WizMind) are required. HiLook does not offer either feature.

Quick comparison:

• Entry camera price: HiLook ~$80 < Dahua ~$170 < Hikvision ~$190
• Entry kit price: HiLook $399 < Dahua $599 < Hikvision $749
• Full-colour night vision: HiLook (limited) < Hikvision ColorVu = Dahua Full-Colour
• Active deterrence: HiLook (n/a) < Hikvision (Smart Hybrid Light strobe) < Dahua TiOC
• NVR cross-compatibility: HiLook ↔ Hikvision (full); Dahua (separate ecosystem)

Why Choose HiLook Cameras?

Manufactured by Hikvision
HiLook is built in Hikvision's own facilities to Hikvision's quality standards. Same imaging sensors, same PoE reliability, same Hik-Connect ecosystem — with a streamlined feature set that keeps the price point under $100 per camera for many models.

From $80 Per Camera, $399 Per Kit
IPC-T262H-MU 6MP turret cameras start around $80. Complete 4-camera CCTV kits with NVR and pre-installed surveillance HDD start at $399. Few brands deliver this specification level at these prices in Australia.

Full Hikvision Compatibility
Every HiLook camera and NVR works seamlessly with Hikvision NVRs and the Hik-Connect app. Start budget and upgrade individual positions to Hikvision ColorVu or Smart Hybrid Light over time — no system overhaul needed.

Common Questions about HiLook Cameras

Is HiLook the same quality as Hikvision?

HiLook is manufactured by Hikvision in the same facilities to the same core quality standards. The difference is a streamlined feature set — HiLook focuses on essential security features (resolution, smart detection, night vision, PoE) while omitting advanced options like ColorVu full-colour night vision and high-tier AcuSense analytics. Image quality and reliability are comparable for the core specifications.

Can I mix HiLook and Hikvision cameras on one NVR?

Yes. HiLook cameras are fully compatible with Hikvision NVRs, and HiLook NVRs are compatible with most Hikvision cameras. Many Smarket customers start with a HiLook 4-camera kit and later upgrade individual positions — for example, swapping the front-door camera to a Hikvision ColorVu model — without replacing the NVR.

What is the cheapest way to get a complete HiLook security system?

A HiLook 4-camera CCTV kit starts from $399 at Smarket. The kit includes 4 turret cameras, a HiLook NVR with built-in PoE switch, and a pre-installed surveillance hard drive. Add Cat6 Ethernet cables (sold separately) and you have everything needed for a weekend DIY installation.

Does HiLook need a subscription or cloud account?

No. HiLook uses local recording on the NVR's hard drive — there are no cloud or subscription fees. The Hik-Connect mobile app for remote viewing, playback, and push notifications is completely free for both iOS and Android.

What warranty do HiLook products carry?

All HiLook products at Smarket carry a 3-year Australian warranty with full local support. Genuine ANZ-specification stock with AU power supplies and local firmware — not grey import.
