This model is 8 MP with ColorVu (colour night vision) and a 30 Ah battery. The 4 MP model uses IR only and has a smaller battery. This one delivers higher quality footage with more power reserve.

How long does the battery last without sun?
The 30 Ah battery can run the camera for several days without any solar charge, depending on recording mode. In most Australian locations, solar keeps it running continuously.
