§ 01Overview

What the DS-PMA-1-1 is

The Hikvision DS-PM1-O4H-H is a wired 4-way power output module (also listed under part DS-PMA-1-1) for the AX Hybrid Pro hardwired alarm platform. While the panel's own outputs handle low-current signalling, this module adds four high-current relays that can directly switch mains-powered equipment, so an alarm or automation event can drive real loads such as sirens, strobe beacons, lighting circuits, electric gates and roller shutters.

Each of the four relays can switch a circuit fed from a 100-240 VAC source, rated up to 16A per relay, and the module opens or closes those circuits on command from the AX Hybrid Pro control panel over the Speed-X bus. It supports cascade mode through one uplink and one downlink Speed-X port, so several expanders can be chained from a single controller for larger output requirements. Front and rear tamper switches and a power/fault indicator support reliable, supervised operation.

The module's own logic is powered at 9 to 24 VDC over the bus, it measures 110 x 155 x 32.5 mm in a plastic enclosure, and operates from -10 to 40 degrees C. Because each relay switches mains voltage, all 100-240 VAC wiring must be carried out by a licensed electrician in line with local rules. Note the related DS-PM1-O4L-H is a low-current version (5A, 6-30V) for lighter loads. This module is built for AX Hybrid Pro controllers such as the DS-PHA64-LP/NP.

DS-PMA-1-1 specifications

- Four onboard power relays each switch a 100-240 VAC circuit rated up to 16A for real mains loads.

- Opens and closes circuits on command from the AX Hybrid Pro panel over the wired Speed-X bus.

- Drives sirens, strobes, lighting circuits, electric gates and roller shutters from alarm or automation events.

- Cascade support with 1 uplink and 1 downlink Speed-X port chains several expanders from one controller.

- Module logic powered at 9-24 VDC over the bus; front and rear tamper for supervised security.

- 110 x 155 x 32.5 mm plastic enclosure, operating from -10 to 40 degrees C.

- High-current model - the DS-PM1-O4L-H low-current version (5A, 6-30V) suits lighter loads.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the DS-PMA-1-1

Switch real mains loads

Four relays rated to 16A let an alarm event drive sirens, strobes, lighting, gates and shutters.

Panel-controlled outputs

The AX Hybrid Pro panel opens and closes each relay over the Speed-X bus as part of its programming.

Expandable by cascade

Uplink and downlink Speed-X ports chain several modules for larger output requirements.

Supervised and tamper-aware

Front and rear tamper plus status indication keep the module dependable and monitored.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Sirens and strobes

Switch mains-powered external sounders and strobe beacons when the alarm activates.

Lighting on alarm

Turn on lighting circuits to deter intruders or illuminate an area during an event.

Gates and shutters

Trigger electric gates or roller shutters from alarm or automation outputs.

Plant and automation

Control compatible mains equipment as part of a structured AX Hybrid Pro install.

§ 06Setup

Installation & setup

01

Plan the outputs

Decide which loads each relay will switch and confirm the AX Hybrid Pro controller, such as the DS-PHA64-LP/NP.

02

Wire by an electrician

Have a licensed electrician wire the 100-240 VAC circuits to the relays in line with local regulations.

03

Connect the Speed-X bus

Connect the module to the panel over Speed-X, using the uplink and downlink ports for any cascaded modules.

04

Program and test

Map the outputs in the panel, then test each relay switches its load correctly on the chosen events.

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked about the DS-PMA-1-1

Q.01

What is the DS-PM1-O4H-H used for?

It is a 4-way power output module that gives an AX Hybrid Pro alarm panel four high-current relays. These can switch mains-powered devices such as sirens, strobes, lighting, gates and shutters when the panel commands an output.
Q.02

How much current can each relay switch?

Each of the four relays can switch a circuit up to 16A, fed from a 100-240 VAC source, which is enough for many mains-powered alarm and automation loads.
Q.03

How does it connect to the panel?

It connects to the AX Hybrid Pro control panel over the wired Speed-X bus. The panel then opens or closes each relay on command as part of its output programming.
Q.04

Can I cascade more than one module?

Yes. It supports cascade mode with one uplink and one downlink Speed-X port, so multiple expanders can be chained from a single AX Hybrid Pro controller when more outputs are needed.
Q.05

Does it switch mains voltage, and who should wire it?

Yes, each relay switches 100-240 VAC. Because mains voltage is involved, all power wiring must be carried out by a licensed electrician in accordance with local electrical regulations.
Q.06

What is the difference from the DS-PM1-O4L-H?

The DS-PM1-O4H-H is the high-current version, switching up to 16A. The DS-PM1-O4L-H is a low-current version rated 5A at 6-30V, suited to lighter loads and low-voltage switching.
Q.07

Which panels does it work with?

It is designed for Hikvision AX Hybrid Pro hardwired alarm controllers such as the DS-PHA64-LP/NP, connecting over the Speed-X bus.
Q.08

Why does the store SKU say DS-PMA-1-1?

This product is the Hikvision DS-PM1-O4H-H 4-way power output module; it is listed here under the part reference DS-PMA-1-1. The specifications and datasheet are for the DS-PM1-O4H-H.
