01Overview

What the DS-1272ZJ-120 is

The Hikvision DS-1272ZJ-120 is a Φ120 mm wall mount bracket for Hikvision fixed-lens mini dome cameras. It holds the dome off a vertical wall and angles it correctly for a side-on view, with the cable routed through the bracket so the wall face stays clean.

Hikvision lists it for fixed-lens mini domes such as the DS-2CD25xxF-I(W), DS-2CD71xx-E and DS-2CS5xA1P-IRS series, and it is also used with current G2 fixed domes like the DS-2CD2143G2-IU, DS-2CD2147G2-LSU and DS-2CD2183G2-IU. The bracket is aluminium alloy and rated for indoor and outdoor use.

Because the same bracket spans several camera generations, confirm the wall-mount accessory listed on your camera's datasheet before ordering.

04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the DS-1272ZJ-120

Made for Hikvision mini domes

The Φ120 mm base matches Hikvision's fixed-lens mini dome bodies, so the camera seats correctly and the screw pattern lines up.

Concealed cabling

Routing the cable through the bracket leaves a clean wall and protects the lead from weather and tampering.

Correct viewing angle

The bracket orientates the dome for a side-on wall view, so the camera looks along the area you want to watch rather than straight down the wall.

Durable in Australian conditions

Aluminium alloy with a sprayed finish resists UV and coastal corrosion better than plastic alternatives.

05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Mini dome on a bare wall

Mount a fixed-lens mini dome off a wall that has no ceiling or soffit to fix to.

Entries and walkways

Angle the dome down a path or over a doorway from a wall above head height.

Driveways and side passages

Cover a driveway or side passage where a wall is the only mounting point.

Tidy residential and retail

Concealed cabling and a matched finish give a clean look on homes and shopfronts.

Installation & setup

  1. What's in the box

One DS-1272ZJ-120 wall mount bracket with mounting screws. The camera is not included.

  2. Installation requirements

Fix the bracket to a solid wall able to support at least three times the combined bracket and camera weight, using wall plugs in masonry. Feed the cable through the bracket before mounting the dome, and seal the wall entry on outdoor installs. Confirm your dome lists this bracket as a wall-mount option.

08Questions

Frequently asked about the DS-1272ZJ-120

Q.01

Which cameras does the DS-1272ZJ-120 suit?
Hikvision lists it for fixed-lens mini dome cameras, including the DS-2CD25xxF-I(W), DS-2CD71xx-E and DS-2CS5xA1P-IRS series, and it is also used with current G2 fixed domes such as the DS-2CD2143G2-IU and DS-2CD2147G2-LSU. Confirm the wall-mount accessory on your camera's datasheet first.
Q.02

Why would I wall mount a dome instead of fixing it to the ceiling?
Domes are usually ceiling or soffit mounted, but on a wall they look straight down the building line rather than across it. This bracket angles the dome off a vertical wall so it can cover a path, entry or driveway where there is no overhead surface to mount on.
Q.03

Does the cable run inside the bracket?
Yes. The cable feeds through the bracket and out behind the dome, so there is no exposed lead on the wall. This keeps the install tidy and protects the cable from weather and tampering.
Q.04

Can I use it outdoors?
Yes. It is aluminium alloy and rated for indoor and outdoor use. Seal the cable entry at the wall and fit the camera's gasket so the join stays dry on exposed walls.
Q.05

Will it fit a larger varifocal dome?
It is sized for compact fixed-lens mini domes. For a larger 2CD27x5 varifocal dome, use the DS-1473ZJ-155 wall mount and check it against your camera's datasheet.
Q.06

Is the camera included?
No. This listing is the wall mount bracket only. The dome camera is purchased separately.
Q.07

Is it genuine Hikvision?
Yes. It is a genuine Hikvision DS-1272ZJ-120 bracket supplied with Australian warranty and local support.
