Auto-Linking Between Panoramic and PTZ
When the panoramic lens detects a target, the PTZ automatically pans and zooms to follow it. No manual intervention needed.

Installation Requirements
1. Power: PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) or 12V DC. Higher power draw due to dual sensors and PTZ motor. 2. Cable: Cat5e or Cat6, max 100 m. 3. Mounting: Pole or wall mount. Camera is heavier than single-lens units — about 2.5–3 kg. Use a sturdy bracket. 4. Height: 4–6 m for best panoramic coverage and PTZ range.
App Setup
1. Download DMSS app (iOS or Android). Create an account. 2. Power the camera via PoE+. Wait about 120 seconds for full boot. 3. Scan the QR code or add by serial number. 4. Configure panoramic-to-PTZ auto-linking rules, deterrence settings, and patrol routes.

Does this take up two NVR channels?
Yes. The panoramic and PTZ streams are separate. You need two available channels on your NVR.
Q.02
What zoom range does the PTZ have?
10× optical. Good for medium-range tracking — not as long as a dedicated 25× PTZ, but combined with the panoramic view it covers most scenarios.
Q.03
Can I use just the panoramic view without the PTZ?
Yes. You can disable auto-linking and use them independently.
Q.04
Is it bigger than a standard PTZ?
Yes. The dual-lens housing is larger and heavier. Plan your mounting bracket accordingly.

What NVR is recommended?
A Dahua NVR with at least 2 spare channels and enough bandwidth for both 8 MP + 4 MP streams. NVR5216-AI-ANZ or similar.
