Installation Requirements
1. Power: PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12V DC. 2. Cable: Cat5e or Cat6, max 100 m. 3. Mounting: Ceiling or wall. Use junction box (PFA136) for cable management. Camera weighs about 700 g. 4. Height: 2.5–3.5 m recommended.
App Setup
1. Download DMSS app (iOS or Android). Create an account. 2. Power the camera via PoE. Wait about 60 seconds. 3. Scan the QR code or add by serial number. 4. Configure detection zones, alarm I/O settings, and notification preferences.

Q.01
Does this camera have colour night vision?
No. It uses IR only (no warm light). For colour night vision, look at the TiOC or ColorVu models in the Dahua range.
Q.02
How is the AS model different from the standard model?
The AS suffix adds alarm input/output (1 in, 1 out) and audio input/output (1 in, 1 out). The standard model without AS has a mic but no alarm or audio I/O.
Q.03
Does it support a microSD card?
Yes, up to 256 GB. Useful for edge recording.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. IP67 weather-sealed and IK10 vandal-proof. Operates from -30°C to 60°C.
