The Hikvision iDS-9632NXI-P8 is a 32-channel DeepinMind Pro network video recorder with AcuSeek, AcuSearch, facial recognition, perimeter protection and video structuralisation. What the iDS-9632NXI-P8 is
The Hikvision iDS-9632NXI-P8 is a 32-channel DeepinMind Pro network video recorder that runs GPU-accelerated AI on the recorder itself. Its analytics are based on Hikvision's Guanlan large-scale AI models. It suits Australian organisations, campuses and industrial sites.
The recorder has three GPU engines. One is reserved for AcuSeek and OVD. The other two are configurable, and each runs one algorithm at a time: facial recognition, perimeter protection, video structuralization or AcuSearch. On the recorder, analytics reach up to 16 channels of facial recognition from video streams (32 channels for face pictures), up to 24 channels of perimeter protection at 2MP without large-model secondary analysis and up to 16 channels of video structuralization at 2MP. These maximums share the same two engines, so they are not all available at once. Face picture libraries hold up to 32 libraries and 100,000 face pictures.
AcuSeek lets you search recordings with text in 11 search languages, including English. With regular IP cameras, the NVR supports AcuSeek on up to 16 channels at 2MP, 8 at 4MP or 4 at 8MP, which uses all three engines. With Hikvision AcuSense cameras that have AcuSearch enabled, AcuSeek works on all channels and can model up to 600,000 targets a day.
Eight SATA interfaces take 3.5-inch drives of up to 20TB each, with RAID 0/1/5/6/10. HDMI 1 outputs up to 8K and HDMI 2 up to 4K, but HDMI 2 is limited to 1080p while HDMI 1 is at 8K. This is a back-end recorder with no built-in PoE, so cameras run from separate switches, and this listing is supplied without hard drives.

Hard drives and RAID
This listing is supplied without hard drives. Fit up to eight 3.5-inch SATA drives (up to 20TB each), then configure RAID 0/1/5/6/10 before recording. Choose RAID 1, 5, 6 or 10 if you need drive redundancy.

Regular or AcuSense cameras
DeepinMind runs AI on the recorder, so regular IP cameras can use its analytics within the channel limits, such as AcuSeek on up to 16 channels at 2MP. AcuSense cameras with AcuSearch enabled extend AcuSeek to all channels. At least one configurable engine must be set to AcuSearch mode to enable AcuSeek.

Can I use 22TB hard drives?
Hikvision's datasheet rates each of the eight SATA interfaces for 3.5-inch drives of up to 20TB, or 160TB raw across all eight. 22TB drives are above that published rating, so we can't confirm they are supported. This listing is supplied without hard drives. Choose drives of 20TB or less to stay within the rated capacity.

Do I need AcuSense cameras to use AcuSeek?
No, but the camera type changes the capacity. With regular IP cameras, the NVR runs AcuSeek on up to 16 channels at 2MP, 8 at 4MP or 4 at 8MP. That uses all three GPU engines: one for target capture, one for AcuSearch modelling and the dedicated AcuSeek engine. The two configurable engines are then not free for other analytics on the recorder. With Hikvision AcuSense cameras that have AcuSearch enabled, AcuSeek works on all channels and can model up to 600,000 targets a day.

Can I run an 8K and a 4K monitor at the same time?
Not at those resolutions together. HDMI 1 supports up to 8K at 30Hz and HDMI 2 supports up to 4K at 60Hz, but while HDMI 1 is at 8K, HDMI 2 is limited to 1080p.
