What the KIT-2386G2H-IU-10CAM-NVR7616M2-NOHDD is

Give each access route or activity area its own camera view. This 10-camera kit combines 10 white DS-2CD2386G2H-IU 8MP turret cameras and one DS-7616NI-M2/16P-NOHDD 16-channel PoE recorder. All supplied camera lenses are 2.8 mm.

2386G2H-IU (10 included): 8MP 3840 × 2160 recording at 25 fps (50 Hz) or 24 fps (60 Hz); 2.8 mm F1.0 lens with 108.8° horizontal field of view; Up to 30 m infrared supplementation; Human/vehicle classification for supported motion and perimeter events; Built-in microphone and 120 dB WDR; IP67 metal camera housing. Infrared night images are black and white. Colour capture needs sufficient visible light in the scene. The manufacturer specifies IR supplementation for this exact IU model.

The recorder provides 16 camera inputs, 16 built-in PoE ports, HDMI and VGA outputs, and two SATA drive bays. 6 recorder channels and physical PoE ports remain available in this base configuration. Any extra cameras must fit the supported bitrate, power budget and recording settings. Its live display decoding capacity and AI processing limits are separate from the number of cameras it can record; choose suitable substreams for a multi-camera grid.

Connect one suitable Ethernet cable from each camera to a recorder PoE port. The specified maximum camera PoE loads total 80 W before cable losses. Allow for remaining power and bandwidth when adding cameras. No hard drive is included. Fit compatible surveillance SATA storage before relying on NVR recording. Size it for all 10 cameras, their bitrates, recording schedules and required retention; no fixed number of recording days is promised. Network cabling and optional mounting accessories are separate.

Does this IU camera use white light for colour at night?

Each supplied IU camera has a built-in microphone. Enable the required audio recording settings and test playback during commissioning. The included camera configuration is the microphone-equipped IU version.
