Hanwha QNE-8011R 5MP Flateye Outdoor Camera, H.265, 20m IR, IP67
- No Dome, No Fuss: flateye body skips the dome cover that fogs or scratches, with 0°-350° pan and 0°-360° rotate to square up the aim after mounting.
- Sees After Dark: 850nm IR reaching 20m and 0.015 lux black-and-white sensitivity keep the scene visible once the sun's down, no extra lighting needed.
- Built for Exposed Spots: IP67 & IK10 rated for weather and knocks, so it can go on a carpark column or ground-floor wall as well as under an eave.
- Keeps Recording if the Network Drops: onboard 128GB micro SD backs up footage locally alongside H.265/WiseStream II's lighter bandwidth footprint.

§ 01Overview
What the QNE-8011R is
The Hanwha Wisenet QNE-8011R is a 5MP outdoor flateye camera built around a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor and a fixed wide-angle lens (F2.0), giving a 105° horizontal field of view from a compact, flush-mounted body.
On-site pan (0°-350°), tilt (0°-75°) and rotate (0°-360°) adjustment lets installers fine-tune the aim without swapping brackets.
Night vision reaches 20m using 850nm IR LEDs, backed by 0.15 lux colour and 0.015 lux black-and-white sensitivity, while wide dynamic range and SSNR digital noise reduction keep footage usable in mixed lighting.
The aluminium housing is IP67 weatherproof and IK10 impact-resistant, rated for -30°C to +55°C operation, so it suits exposed eaves, verandahs and driveways across Australia.
H.265/H.264 compression with WiseStream II keeps bandwidth in check, recordings can be stored onboard on a micro SD card up to 128GB, and the camera is powered simply over a single PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 3) cable.

§ 04Why choose this
Built for the way you actually use the QNE-8011R
Rated for Exposed, Reachable Mounting Points
IK10 impact resistance is what lets you mount this at eye level on a carpark column, a ground-floor facade, or a stairwell landing without worrying about knocks or interference, and IP67 sealing covers the weather side of the same exposed spot.
On-Site Aim Without Remounting
0°-350° pan, 0°-75° tilt, and 0°-360° rotate adjustment happen after the bracket is already fixed to the wall, so installers square up the frame to the actual scene instead of guessing the angle before mounting.
Keeps Working After Dark, No Extra Lighting
850nm IR reaching 20m and 0.015 lux black-and-white sensitivity mean the camera stays useful once the sun goes down, without needing a separate floodlight or IR illuminator on site.
One Cable Does Power and Data
PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 3) means a single cable from the switch or NVR handles both power and video, cutting out a separate power run to a plug-pack camera.
Local Backup Without a Second Recorder
An onboard micro SD slot (up to 128GB) keeps recording if the network link to the NVR drops, so a temporary outage doesn't leave a gap in the footage.
§ 05Where it fits
Right at home in these scenarios
Verandah & Front Entry
A single flush-mounted flateye covers the full porch width with no dome to catch glare or collect grime, and IP67 sealing means rain blowing in under the eaves isn't a problem.
Carpark, Stairwell or Ground-Floor Facade
IK10 impact resistance means it can go somewhere passers-by can actually reach — a carpark column, a ground-level wall, or a stairwell landing — without needing a wire cage or a harder-to-service high mount.
Corridors, Aisles and Lift Lobbies
Hallway view rotation reframes the image to run along a narrow space instead of across it, so a corridor or aisle camera captures its full length rather than mostly ceiling and floor.
Remote or Storm-Prone Properties
Onboard micro SD recording keeps working if the network link to the NVR drops, and a -30°C to +55°C operating range means it copes with the temperature swings of exposed or remote sites.
