01Overview

What the HV-QNP-6320HS is

The Hanwha HV-QNP-6320HS is a 2MP outdoor PTZ camera built for the environments a painted aluminium unit would not survive.

The SUS316L marine-grade stainless steel housing carries IP66, IP67 and NEMA 4X ratings with IK10 impact resistance, standing up to salt spray, industrial wash-down and chemical exposure long after a lower-grade PTZ would corrode.

Optically it delivers 32x optical zoom across a 4.44mm to 142.6mm motorized varifocal range, so a single mount point covers a distant wharf approach at wide angle and a close-in ID zoom at telephoto without moving hardware.

1920x1080 output at 60fps holds fast-moving harbour or industrial scenes together where 30fps PTZs blur.

700°/sec pan speed and 300 preset positions support patrol tours, while digital auto tracking and digital image stabilisation keep the target framed even during camera vibration.

PoE+ (802.3at, Class 4) power drop, ONVIF Profile S/G/T certified.

04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the HV-QNP-6320HS

Built to Survive Salt Spray & Chemical Wash-Down

Painted-aluminium PTZ cameras pit within one to two seasons of coastal exposure. This unit's SUS316L marine-grade stainless housing resists the ion mechanism that ruins them — the up-front cost premium is offset by not swapping the camera every couple of years.

32x Zoom From a Single Mount

A 4.44mm to 142.6mm motorized varifocal range replaces multiple fixed-lens cameras on a large site. One mount covers wide situational awareness at 4.44mm and a licence-plate-legible tele shot at 142.6mm without touching hardware.

60fps Where 30fps Blurs

Fast-moving harbour, dock or forklift-heavy scenes benefit from the 60fps output — the doubled temporal resolution keeps moving subjects sharp for evidence review where standard 30fps PTZs blur.

Preset-Driven Patrol Automation

300 preset positions plus 700°/sec pan speed lets one operator run a scripted patrol across a large marina or industrial yard from a single unit, or unattended overnight if paired with a scheduled tour.

05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Coastal Marinas & Ferry Terminals

SUS316L housing survives long-term salt spray exposure where standard aluminium PTZs corrode inside a year. The 32x zoom pulls detail on approaching vessels well before they reach the dock apron.

Container Ports & Dockyards

60fps output keeps container-handling gantries and moving vehicles sharp during incident review; 700°/sec pan speed and preset positions cover multiple berth sectors from a single mast.

Oil, Gas & Chemical Plants

IP66/IP67 plus stainless housing withstand wash-down protocols and chemical exposure common in refinery, tank-farm and process-plant environments where surveillance still has to run.

Food Processing Wash-Down Zones

High-pressure daily wash-down destroys ordinary outdoor housings; SUS316L plus IP67 keeps the camera live through the cleaning cycles in meatworks, fish processing and beverage bottling plants.

Water Treatment & Desalination Plants

Chlorinated and saline atmospheres attack coated housings; a stainless PTZ becomes the only long-term option for perimeter and process monitoring on Australia's growing desalination and coastal treatment infrastructure.

Installation & setup

  1. What's in the Box

    • Hanwha HV-QNP-6320HS Camera x 1
    • Mounting Bracket & Fixings x 1 set
    • Quick Start Guide x 1

  2. Installation Requirements

    • Power: PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at, Class 4) — a standard 802.3af PoE port is NOT sufficient. Verify PoE+ switch or midspan.
    • Storage: micro SD/SDHC/SDXC card up to 256GB (sold separately) for edge recording.
    • Mounting: heavy stainless-steel body — verify the substrate can carry a 5,400g load plus wind exposure at coastal or elevated positions.
    • Network: RJ-45 with weather-sealed connector recommended for coastal deployment; ONVIF Profile S/G/T for third-party VMS or Wisenet WAVE / SSM native integration.

  3. App & Setup

    • Discover with Wisenet Toolbox Plus or Device Manager.
    • Assign IP, set admin password (brute-force prevention enforced), configure H.265 profile.
    • Program preset positions and patrol tours through the camera web interface — up to 300 positions.
    • Enable digital auto tracking on the events of interest (intrusion zone, virtual line crossing).

08Questions

Frequently asked about the HV-QNP-6320HS

Q.01

Why is the stainless steel worth the price premium over a standard QNP-6320H?
The SUS316L stainless housing resists the salt-driven pitting corrosion that destroys painted aluminium PTZ housings within one to two years in coastal environments. Where wash-down chemicals or seawater spray are present, the QNP-6320HS is often the only camera that lasts the depreciation period without replacement.
Q.02

What does 32x optical zoom actually let me see?
At the 142.6mm telephoto end, the camera can pull licence-plate-legible detail across the far side of a large yard from a central mounting point. At the 4.44mm wide end, the same unit gives an overall situational view of the same area — replacing what would otherwise be two or three fixed cameras.
Q.03

What analytics does the camera run?
Defocus detection, motion detection, virtual line crossing, virtual area (intrusion, enter, exit), and tampering are built in. Digital auto tracking will lock onto and follow a moving target once triggered, useful for perimeter events that occur while the camera is on preset tour.
Q.04

Does the camera support VMS integration?
Yes — ONVIF Profile S / G / T is supported, so the unit integrates with any ONVIF-compatible VMS. Native Wisenet WAVE and SSM integration is the fullest; SUNAPI (HTTP API) is documented for custom control code.
Q.05

What's the minimum switch requirement for power?
PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at, Class 4) is required — a standard 802.3af PoE port will not power the camera. Confirm the switch or midspan supports 802.3at before installing at a remote coastal location.
Q.06

How does the 60fps output help in real-world scenes?
For fast-moving harbour or industrial scenes — a forklift moving across a dock apron, a person walking briskly at close range — 60fps keeps the moving subject sharp for evidence review. On slower scenes the difference is not visible; the codec adjusts bitrate accordingly.
Q.07

Can it survive tropical / cyclone rated environments?
The IP66 and IP67 ratings confirm sealing against powerful water jets and temporary immersion respectively. IK10 impact resistance handles airborne debris. Combined with the stainless housing this covers most coastal and cyclone-influenced Australian deployments; consider a cyclone-rated mount for pole positions.
