§ 01Overview

What the QNF-C9010 is

The Hanwha QNF-C9010 is a 12MP indoor fisheye AI camera in Hanwha's Q-Core range — replacing 2-3 conventional fixed-lens cameras across a typical room from a single ceiling mount.

A 1.76mm F1.8 fixed fisheye lens covers 185° horizontal × 185° vertical, capturing the full 360° room in one frame at 3584x2688 resolution.

On-camera dewarping outputs original fisheye, single panorama, double panorama, and quad view streams in parallel, so the VMS receives already-flat streams without needing to run dewarping geometry itself.

AI classifies Person and Vehicle detections on-camera; WiseNRⅡ AI-driven noise reduction preserves detail on moving subjects in low-light scenes.

120dB WDR handles backlit windows and mixed-lighting entrances.

Business intelligence includes on-camera people counting and heatmap analytics — footfall data streams to any ONVIF-compatible dashboard without a separate BI platform.

PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 3) power.

IP42 indoor dust/drip rating — this is an indoor unit; for outdoor deployment choose the QNF-C9010V vandal variant.

0.02 Lux minimum illumination handles standard indoor lighting; no IR — relies on ambient light.

§ 04Why choose this

Built for the way you actually use the QNF-C9010

One Camera Replaces Multiple Fixed-Lens Units

A single fisheye at 185° horizontal × 185° vertical covers what would otherwise take 2-3 fixed-lens cameras plus their cabling, mounting, and NVR channels. The consolidation shows up as savings on NVR channel licences and install cost, not the camera unit price.

Dewarping Runs On the Camera, Not the VMS

Panorama and quad-view streams are produced on the camera itself — the VMS server doesn't need extra CPU to unroll the fisheye geometry. Meaningful on multi-camera sites already running heavy VMS-side analytics.

Q-Core AI Object Classification

Person and Vehicle classification runs on-camera at Q-series price. Rule triggering scopes to specific object classes, reducing false alerts from environmental motion. Business intelligence (people counting, heatmap) adds operational analytics.

Genuine 12MP Density for Forensic Zoom

Higher-pixel-density fisheye means digital zoom into a corner of the wide view still resolves usable identifying detail during incident review — a meaningful difference from lower-resolution fisheye alternatives.

§ 05Where it fits

Right at home in these scenarios

Retail Shop Floors

A single ceiling-mounted fisheye covers the whole trading floor with no blind-spot mapping exercise. Heatmap output feeds visual-merchandising decisions; people counting supports operational reporting.

Classrooms & Training Rooms

185° coverage catches both the teacher end and the back rows in one camera; useful for compliance capture in vocational training or NDIS providers where session recording is a requirement.

Open-Plan Offices

Ceiling-mounted fisheye blends into commercial ceiling tiles; quad-view output gives reception, meeting-room door, and cafeteria zones from one channel.

Corporate Lobbies & Waiting Rooms

People counting feeds live occupancy displays for reception staff; heatmap identifies which lobby zones are dead space.

Warehouse & Storeroom Interior

Overhead fisheye at 185° covers a full storeroom footprint; AI Person/Vehicle classification differentiates staff movement from forklift/vehicle events.

§ 06Setup

Installation & setup

01

What's in the Box

1. Hanwha QNF-C9010 Camera x 1 2. Mounting Template & Fixings x 1 set 3. Quick Start Guide x 1

02

Installation Requirements

1. Power: PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 3) - standard PoE switch port sufficient. 2. Storage: micro SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot for edge recording (sold separately). 3. Mounting: indoor fisheye housing - flush ceiling mount is the intended orientation. IP42 covers indoor dust and vertical drips only, not outdoor exposure. 4. Network: ONVIF Profile S/G/T/M for third-party VMS or Wisenet WAVE / SSM native.

03

App & Setup

1. Discover with Wisenet Toolbox Plus. 2. Set admin password on first login (brute-force prevention enforced), configure H.265 with WiseStreamⅢ. 3. Configure dewarping mode per stream: original fisheye / single panorama / double panorama / quad view. 4. Enable AI Person/Vehicle classification; configure BI rules (people counting zones, heatmap regions).

§ 07Questions

Frequently asked about the QNF-C9010

Q.01

How does the QNF-C9010 differ from the outdoor QNF-C9010V variant?

Same 12MP sensor, same 1.76mm fisheye lens, same 185° field of view, same AI analytics. The difference: this indoor unit has IP42 rating (indoor dust/drip only); the QNF-C9010V is the outdoor vandal variant with higher weatherproof and impact ratings. Choose this for indoor ceiling installs; choose the V variant for outdoor exposure.
Q.02

What's Q-Core AI vs standard Q series or P series?

Q-Core sits between Q series (no AI classification) and P series (full AI stack with Face + License plate classification, BestShot, and richer analytics). Q-Core adds Person + Vehicle classification to the Q feature set — enough AI for most rule-scoped alerting without paying for the full P stack.
Q.03

How much room can one camera cover?

185° horizontal × 185° vertical from a ceiling mount effectively covers a full room — floor-to-floor and wall-to-wall on rooms up to roughly 8-12 metres wide. Larger rooms benefit from either 2 fisheye cameras at opposite ends or a P-series higher-resolution unit.
Q.04

Does it have IR for dark rooms?

No. This indoor fisheye does not include IR illumination. Minimum illumination 0.02 Lux in colour mode handles standard indoor lighting; in complete darkness image quality degrades. For rooms with poor after-hours lighting, either add ambient lighting or choose a model with IR.
Q.05

How does bandwidth work for 12MP fisheye?

12MP at 20fps with H.265 encoding typically produces 1-2 Mbps depending on scene complexity and motion. WiseStreamⅢ AI codec adjusts bitrate to scene content — meaningful reduction in NVR storage cost over uncompressed streams.
Q.06

What VMS platforms does it integrate with?

ONVIF Profile S / G / T / M so it drops into any ONVIF-compatible VMS. Native Wisenet WAVE and SSM integration is fullest; SUNAPI (HTTP API) documented for custom integrations.
Q.07

Do the four dewarped views count as four channels on the NVR?

No. The four dewarped views are produced by the single camera and delivered as multiple video streams from one device. The camera consumes one channel licence on most VMS platforms and appears as a single device with multiple stream profiles.
