Choose 6MP turret (DS-2CD2366G2 series) when: facial detail at residential distances (5–15m) is the priority, NVR storage budget is a consideration, or budget per camera matters. 6MP files are roughly 33% smaller than 8MP, extending recording duration on the same hard drive.
