1. Network Cabling: Cat5e or Cat6 cable from each camera to NVR location, typically 10-30 metres per run with 2-3 metre buffer for Australian installations 2. Hard Drive: Western Digital Purple 2TB minimum provides 25-35 days continuous recording, 4TB recommended for 60-day retention of two 6MP cameras 3. Power and Display: NVR requires 100-240V mains power and HDMI or VGA monitor for initial setup, router with available Ethernet port for remote access 4. Mounting Requirements: Install cameras 2.5-3.5 metres height on solid surfaces, point 15-30 degrees downward, maintain 30cm clearance from eaves to prevent infrared reflection 5.
