1. Power Source: Requires access to mains power outlet with 30mA RCD protection for NVR, cameras powered via PoE through CAT6 cable 2. Network Connection: Compatible with all NBN types including FTTP, FTTN, FTTC, and HFC, requires NBN 50 plan minimum for optimal remote viewing 3. Cabling: CAT6 cables up to 100 metres per camera, ACMA registered cabler legally required for permanent in-wall or in-roof cable installations 4. Mounting Surface: Cameras rated IP67 and NEMA 4X for Australian coastal conditions, install under eaves at 2.5-3.5 metre height with weatherproof RJ45 boots

App Setup

1. Download Hik-Connect app from hik-connect.com for Android or App Store for iOS, select Australia region during registration with email address 2. Connect NVR to mains power and router, attach monitor and mouse, set admin password and verification code during first boot activation 3. Enable Platform Access in NVR network settings, scan QR code with Hik-Connect app, enter verification code to add device for remote viewing 4.
